Trey joined the team at St. Thomas in early 2024 while studying at Oakland University. He graduated later that year with a major in Music Technology and a minor in World Music. Typically stationed at the booth on Sundays, Trey makes sure all of the technology is set for services and special events. Trey creates the slideshows and on-screen materials for livestreaming, and is the primary contact for website updates.
Trey loves to share about his study abroad trips, especially his experience with the gyil, a Ghanaian xylophone. Whenever Trey is involved, it is possible to see instruments from around the world. Trey is also the Stage and Projection assistant at the DIA, sharing his passion for global arts. His inspiration comes from his family and friends, especially his girlfriend Kayla, and his dog Lila.
