Samaritan House

Samaritan House is supported by 13 local churches, including St. Thomas. Samaritan House provides much needed support to our community. In 2025 they provided groceries to 7,382 individuals and delivered groceries to 458 homebound clients. In addition to providing much needed food, they help clients avoid eviction, prevent utility shut-off, and provide holiday food boxes.
St. Thomas has supported these efforts by participating in an annual food drive every February. This year we participated in an extra food drive in November to help supplement cuts to the SNAP program.
St. Thomas members also provide support by attending and volunteering at one or more of the Samaritan House three annual fundraisers; the Pasta and Chicken fundraiser in the winter, the Golf Fundraiser in the summer, and the Food and Fashion fundraiser in the fall. In addition, St. Thomas has donated raffle baskets to several of these events.
