As one of the founding churches, St. Thomas has supported MCREST for more than 37 years. We watched MCREST evolve from hosting individuals in Macomb County churches to establishing its first permanent shelter for women and children in Mount Clemens. From a rotating model to a year-round home, MCREST has provided dignity, safety, and renewed opportunity for families in need.
The men’s program has been temporarily paused while they renovate a part of the women’s shelter to provide temporary shelter for the men.
