Matthew 28
St. Thomas has been supporting Matthew 28 since 2009 after the devistating earthquake. Previously an orphanage that is located in Bohok, Haiti, the facility now supports refugees escaping the gang violence in Port Au Prince and the surrounding areas with food and shelter. Matthew 28 has also built, staffed and supplied a K-6 school for the children located in Bohok (we have just had our first graduating class). In addition, we help provide food to over 20 food centers to children in the villages located in the surrounding areas that are unable to obtain food on their own. Our ongoing plan is to continue to help for the food centers, refugees and expand the school through 12th grade.
