Colina de Luz

Colina de Luz (hill of light) is a Christian children's home near Tijuana Mexico, which was founded 40 years ago and is run by Jim and Susan Drake. They provide housing and education through college to approximately 50-60 children. Additionally, they make it a point to share their blessings with the neighboring community, embodying their calling as a "light on a hill."

St. Thomas has sent teams to work at Colina de Luz over the years. The most recent team worked to repair the roofing in the boys dorms, stucco and paint walls, sew curtains and, of course, play with the kids whenever they could.
