Changing HerStory

Founded in 2014 by a group of women at St. Thomas, Changing HerStory is an outreach mission dedicated to the economic empowerment of women through the funding of micro-loans.  By giving micro-loans to women living in extreme poverty, we help them lift themselves and their families up, reducing the risk of oppression and exploitation in their lives.  Our goal is to empower women and create positive change worldwide.  To achieve this goal, Changing HerStory holds yearly meetings featuring woman focused educational guest speakers that allow women to gather together, share information, give, and celebrate the joy of making a difference in the world.
