Samaritan House Annual Harvest Walk
Are Your Walking Shoes Ready?
Enjoy a 1 mile or 5K stroll through the picturesque Village of Romeo and appreciate the fall beauty all the while raising important funds for Samaritan House, a food pantry and more for those in need in our area. Participate with neighbors, coworkers, family or a favorite organization. Strollers, wagons for small children and wheelchairs are welcome, but please leave bikes, skateboards and roller-blades at home.
The Annual Harvest Time Walk on October 6th departs from St. John Lutheran Church, 246 Benjamin St., Romeo at 1:30pm with registration at 1:00pm. The Quilt Raffle drawing will take place prior to the start of the walk. We hope to raise $13,000 but can only do so with your help! It's a great opportunity for families, clubs, church groups, youth groups, co-workers and friends to put your hearts and soles in motion to help stop hunger!
Contact Gretchen Monette at 586-336-9956, Margaret Trublowski at 248-652-1129 or Karen Walters at 586-703-1626 for details on becoming a walker or a t-shirt sponsor (which includes your name/logo on the 2013 t-shirt worn by walkers).
